경험을 말할 때 쓰는 the first time 문장 패턴 정리

많은 분들이 영어로 경험을 이야기할 때, 어떻게 말해야하는지 어려워합니다. 오늘은 자신의 경험에 대해서 영어로 말할 때 쓰는 문장 패턴들을 살펴보겠습니다.

This is my first time to 동사 ~

It is my first time to 동사 ~

처음으로 소개드릴 표현은 This/It is my first time to do ~ 표현입니다. 아래 예문을 보시죠.

This is my first time to come to Toronto.
    토론토에 온 건 처음이예요.   

It is my second time to eat at this restaurant.
    이 식당에서 식사를 하는 건 두번째예요.

This is Lina's first time to take the TTC in Toronto.
    Lina가 토론토에서 TTC를 타는 건 처음이예요.

This is my first time + 동명사(ing)

It is my first time + 동명사(ing)

This/It is my first time 뒤에 앞서 살펴본 것 같이 'to + 동사원형'이 오기도 하지만 동명사가 와도 괜찮습니다.

This is my first time coming to Toronto.

It is my second time eating at this restaurant.

This is Lina's first time taking the TTC in Toronto.

과거, 미래 시제에도 Okay

위의 문장 패턴은 과거, 미래 시제에도 바꿔가면서 쓸 수 있습니다. 

This will be my first time coming to Beijing.
    북경을 가는 건 저에게 처음일겁니다ㅏ.

It was my second time going shopping at this mall.
    이 몰에서 쇼핑을 한 건 두번째였어.

This will be Danny's first time taking a subway in New York.
    이것은 Danny가 뉴욕에서 지하철을 타는 첫번째가 될거야. 

This is the first time + 주어 + 동사

It is the first time + 주어 + 동사

This/it is the first time 뒤에는 자연스럽게 그냥 문장으로 이야기할 수도 있답니다.

This is my first time I came to Toronto.

It is my second time we ate at this restaurant.

This is the first time Lina is taking the TTC in Toronto.

 주어 + 동사 + for the first time

문장 끝에 for the first time을 써도 '처음으로'라는 의미가 됩니다. 이런 경우 'at the first time'이 아닙니다.

I am going to New York next month for the first time.
    나는 다음달에 처음으로 뉴욕에 간다.

We are eating at this restaurant for the first time.
   우리가 이 식당에서 처음으로 식사를 하고 있다.

Lina is taking the TTC in Toronto for the first time.
    Lina가 토론토에서 처음으로 TTC를 타고 있다.
