아이폰 6 출시 예정일은 9월 9일 iPhone 6 Launch Date : September 9

해외 IT관련 블로그를 보니 아이폰 6 출시일 관련 글이 많이 올라왔습니다. 

오늘은 이와관련한 영어 지문을 살펴보겠습니다. 

Apple will launch the iPhone 6 at an event scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, according to the consistently reliable and well sourced Re/Code (formerly WSJ’s All Things Digital), Bloomberg, and The Wall Street Journal.

Specifically, Recode says the event will focus on “Apple’s next-generation iPhones, which are expected to feature larger displays of 4.7 and 5.5 inches and run speedy new A8 processors.” The Wall Street Journal also confirmed the mid September launch date, suggesting that both iPhone screen sizes will debut at the Apple event.

Bloomberg also chimed in to support the launch date, and specifically mentioned that both size iPhone models will be unveiled by Apple: “The Cupertino, California-based company is set to introduce two new models: one with a 4.7-inch screen, and another with a 5.5-inch screen, people with knowledge of the plans have said.”

제가 생각하기에 영어 지문을 읽을 때, 정말 잘못된 공부방법과 습관이 뒤에서 부터 다시 돌아와서 한글처럼 해석하는 것이라고 생각합니다. 

영어권 원어민은 절대 뒤에서 앞으로 읽지 않거든요. 우리도 영어를 읽어 갈때 의미 단위로 끊어서 순서대로 읽어가야합니다.

구체적으로 말하자면, Recode가 말하길 그 이벤트는 애플의 다음 아이폰, 아이폰 6에 집중한다고 합니다 / 그 아이폰 6는 4.7인치에서 5.5인치로 더 큰 디스플레이일거라 예상할되고, / 새로운 A8 프로세서로 작동된다. 

The Wall Street Journal also confirmed / the mid September launch date, suggesting that both iPhone screen sizes will debut at the Apple event.

월스트리트 저널 역시 9월 중순 출시일을 확인했고, / 두 사이즈 아이폰 모두 나올거라고 제안했다. / 애플 이벤트에서 

Bloomberg also chimed in to support the launch date, / and specifically mentioned that both size iPhone models will be unveiled by Apple: “The Cupertino, California-based company is set to introduce two new models: one with a 4.7-inch screen, and another with a 5.5-inch screen, people with knowledge of the plans have said.”

Bloomberg 역시 출시일에 대해서 찬성했고 / 구체적으로는 애플이 두 사이즈의 아이폰 모델을 함께 출시한다고 말했다. Cupertino, California 기반한 회사 (애플)은 두가지 새 모델 / 4.7 인치 스크린, 5.5 인치 스크린(디스플레이) 두가지가 소개하기로 되어 있다고 한다. 이러한 것은 관계자의 언급이다.
