the front of the line

the middle of the line

the end of the line

맨 앞줄은 the front of the line, 줄 중간은 the middle of the line, 행렬은 끝은 the end of the line이라고 합니다.

I was lucky because we got to the front of the line.
Danny said he is standing in the middle of the line and it just started moving.
The teacher told the misbehaving child to go to the end of the line.

 Are you on line?

거의 매일 쓰는 표현 같기도 한데, Are you on line?

Excuse me, are you on line?
Even though I got there an hour early, a lot of people were on line.
I was on line at the bank for twenty minutes this morning.

wait on line

'wait on line'입니다. 'wait in line' 같지만 wait on line입니다.

Even though I got there an hour early, a lot of people were waiting on line.
I was waiting on line at the bank for twenty minutes this morning.
Excuse me, are you waiting on line?

get on line

'get on line'을 인터넷에서 찾아보면 'get online'으로 '인터넷에 접속하다'로 나오고 'get in line'으로 찾아봐야 '줄에 들어가 서다'로 나옵니다.

cut the line
